Musicianship
Musicianship is a huge category and it involves everything that you, a musician, need to know in order to understand, discuss, and perform not only the music that you are studying but any music anywhere.
While we use a specific system of music notation that developed from the events and cultures in Western Europe, that system is the one used in most of the world and this way of talking about music will get you through almost any situation.
That said, I believe that learning to read music is best done when a student works directly with a teacher, but I wanted to put together a place where any student can review concepts or try to get a better grasp of the written language of music.
